I wish I could keep them all, but I am proud to have been able to help these exceptional horses find wonderful homes!

Wonderful's Talisman  aka Tally

by ES Wonderful out of Amulette by Aktuell

Congratulations to Cindy Brown of San Antonio.  Gem (now to be known as "Tally") will be Cindy's personal dressage horse.   We will miss her, but she has found a truly wonderful home with Cindy.

This 2004 Hanoverian mare is a real find for the dressage rider or Hanoverian breeder.  She has graceful, elastic, correct gaits, good hindleg activity, free shoulder, compact conformation and a very kind disposition. At her foal inspection the inspectors liked her very much, commenting on her feminine type, her light lofty gaits and her pretty face. Her pedigree is superb, with several legendary dressage sires up front. She is a daughter of leading dressage sire Wonderful and a granddaughter of lengendary sires Weltmeyer and Aktuell.

She has the willingness, scopey gaits and heritage to be developed as an FEI horse or elite mare candidate.   Check out this article on recognizing an ideal dressage prospect http://www.graemont.com/picking.php and you'll discover why this one is special!

Congratulations to Kathy Jacoby. Amulette has gone to live out her years at Kathy's beautiful 100 acre ranch near Valley Mills.

Amulette is an extremely kind and gentle mare who produces wonderful riding horses with a lot of heart and easygoing temperaments. She is the dam of Wonderful's Talisman.

Congratulations to Betty Waldo.  It was my great pleasure to be able to help Tenacity find a wonderful home with one of a my favorite people and a talented rider too.  You go girls!

What an awesome opportunity to be able to work with this fabulously talented mare bred by Didi Carpenter of Honeybrook Farm in Hockley and owned by Donna Snover.  I showed this mare in hand at a USDF breed show and she scored an incredible 89% !  Cross Marilyn Monroe with a Ferrari and you can get an idea of Tenacity!

Der Dax
by Domiro (Donnerhall/Pik Ramiro) out of Wall Street (Wenzel/Adlerlass)

Congratulations to Bridget Rogers of Houston on her purchase of this exciting young dressage prospect. Dax is getting a royal dressage education at Canaan Ranch.  At a recent sporthorse symposium Hilda Gurney praised Dax as a bonafide Grand Prix prospect with three "8" gaits!
.
This one truly has it all - classic conformation, three excellent gaits, super pedigree (a grandson of Donnerhall and Wenzel), sensible and sane temperament, and a gorgeous dark bay. Dax has the “quick hind leg,” that you hear is so critical to success at the FEI levels. He is active and agile with his hind legs and it is easy to see how quickly he can change his dance steps. He was champion colt of his inspection, and his dam is a proven producer of winners-- her numerous offspring are earning into the 70's in the show ring and high scores at the inspections. Dax is her last one. You can go far with this guy.

As a foal, Dax was selected as "Top Colt" at his American Hanoverian Society inspection held at Stargate in 2004. After seeing him go, the inspectors made this announcement, "Really! What a good type. Excellent conformation... excellent topline...good hindleg also!  Like the other Domiro [foal] we saw [today], he is very active from behind. Maybe he could show more freedom in the shoulder -- but [we see] good suspension and activity. I think this is an excellent colt with a lot of promise for the future. Congratulations for this outstanding foal!"
Dunin' Bradstreet

1996 Main Studbook AHS Hanoverian Mare

Congratulations to Sharon Pike on her purchase of Dunin.  Dunin has given Sharon a beautiful pale gold filly by the fabulous black German stallion Rascalino.  This Rotspon son has "9" rideability and gaits! Sharon is planning to keep this little darling, but you can get in line for her Sinatra Song (Sandro Hit) foal due in 2009.  To learn about Sharon's great breeding program visit www.rockinhorseranchers.com

Dunin Bradstreet is one of the greatest horses I have ever ridden, a fabulous partner in the show ring, and I will miss her incredible self.  I am hoping my Dior, her filly by De Niro, will live up to her Dunin's legacy!

Tigerlily
by See Me Com 'En out of Witch Duck by Seclusive Z (Secretariat/Native Dancer)
2001 Jockey Club Registered Thoroughbred Filly

Congratulations to Judy Baugh in west Texas on her purchase of this doll of a mare.  Tigerlily will be sorely missed as she was adored by all her friends here, equine and human!  Tigerlily has found her own dream home on a large Texas ranch with a wonderful owner.

Lily is an exceptionally athletic mare with three nice gaits and an awesome jump.  She was bred to be a show hunter and has never raced.  Lily is a beautiful mare who was approved in the Oldenburg main marebook with high marks by the GOV (including 8's!).  While on lease at WhiteHedge Farm, Tigerlily had a colt by the Hanoverian stallion Cabalito named Curious George, born April 2007.  Lily's own sire See Me Com "En is very proven in the showring with a great hunter pedigree and numerous winning show hunter offspring.  Her damsire Seclusive Z was exported to Europe!! from the US to stand at the famous Jumper stud farm Zangersheide in Holland!   Currently Tigerlily is working on her dressage.  She has also been on a few hacks and is proving to have good sense on the trail.
